Come support your VFW this Saturday September 16th beginning at 11 am for a CHICKEN BBQ! Chicken halves will be $8.00 and chicken dinners will be $12.00. Be sure to get there early so that you don’t miss your chance at some scrumptious food! Thank you so much to those who signed up to help out with this event! We couldn’t do it without your support!

LET’S PUT YOUR SKILLS TO THE TEST AND TRY OUT SOME TRIVIA!

Come play your favorite bar game, TRIVIA, on Wednesday September 20th, beginning at 6:30 pm. DJ Bill Wright asks the crowd stumping questions while you and your team try to come up with all of the correct answers! Wednesday is also wing night, so you can’t beat that combo!

CAN YOU BELT IT OUT LIKE WHITNEY OR MARIAH? CAN YOU SHOUT IT OUT AND DANCE AROUND? THEN COME PERFORM FOR US!

Karaoke is coming in hot this month on Friday September 22nd from 8-11 pm. DJ Peggy and her team of DJs will be there for all of your favorite song requests, and once you get the mic, we are ready to hear you! Get up and have some fun! Get a little liquid courage in you and give us an unforgettable show!

DON’T FORGET TO GET YOUR GUN RAFFLE TICKETS! THE DRAWING IS COMING UP!

Join us on Saturday September 23rd in the canteen from 6-10 pm for our Gun Raffle. Tickets are only $10 so grab yours if you haven’t already! Come on out for the event to see if you are a winner! We will also have food, raffle baskets, and music by DJ Scotty Sharpe! Come on out for an evening of fun and winning!

MEAT TRAY BINGO WILL BE HELD IN THE BANQUET HALL ON SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 24TH. THIS WILL BE OPENED TO THE PUBLIC, SO COME OUT TO PLAY! DOORS WILL OPEN AROUND NOON AND BINGO WILL BEGIN AROUND 1 PM!

LOOKING A LITTLE AHEAD TO NEXT MONTH…WE HAVE GHOSTS AND GOBLINS AND MORE!

The Post will host its first ever TRUNK OR TREAT on Thursday October 26th from 6-8 pm, so SAVE THIS DATE! We tried our best to ensure that our event doesn’t conflict with other trunk or treats going on in the area! Our Trunk or Treat will include decorated trunks giving out treats, police and fire vehicles, games inside our banquet hall, hot dogs, drinks, and face painting! If you are interested in signing up to decorate your trunk and hand out candy or a small goodie, please contact McKayla Herman at 717-693-3357. Please give your name, theme of your trunk and if you are planning on handing out candy or a small goodie (ex: pencils, erasers, stickers, etc). There is also a sign-up genius link that you can go ahead and sign up on! We are very excited to host this event for the children! We encourage you all to bring out the kids for this great event! The more the merrier! We also are looking for volunteers that evening to help with games inside the banquet hall, parking, handing out hot dogs and also help to guide the children along outside as they move through the cars! If you are interested in volunteering, there will be a sign-up sheet in the banquet hall for that! We thank you so much for your participation. Our hope is to make this event huge and grow it more and more each year! We love to do things for the kids!

  • The Aux meeting will take place on Tuesday September 26th at 6:30 pm.
  • The Post meeting will take place on Wednesday September 27th at 6:30 pm.
  • The Post has all of your PA Lottery needs. Come play some skill machines, watch car races, watch horse races or play the Powerball. Come try your luck!
  • I 105 WIOV radio station advertises for the Post! So be sure to tune into the station to hear upcoming announcements as well and check out their community calendar for events happening at the Post.
