This upcoming Saturday November 11th is Veteran’s Day! Make sure you thank those men and women, both past and present, who have served our country! At the Post, we are doing a little something special for the Vets! On Saturday November 11th, Veterans are invited to come have a free dinner from 4-8 pm. The dinner will include a steak, baked potato, roll, salad and dessert. Veterans are allowed to bring a significant other, who may also purchase a steak dinner or order from our kitchen! We would like to thank Mike Kramer for his generous donation of the steaks and dessert for this event! We look forward to seeing the Vets this weekend and can’t wait to extend our gratitude to all of you!

LOOKING FOR A WAY TO HELP SOLDIERS DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON? WE HAVE A SOLUTION FOR YOU!

The Millersville Lions club is using our banquet facility on Thursday November 16th at 6:30 pm. They are holding a “stockings for soldiers” event and are looking for people to come out and help in any way! They are accepting donations of personal care items, food items, games, etc, which may be brought to the VFW that evening! They are inviting people out to actually help stuff the stockings as well! This is a great way to give back to those who have sacrificed so much for our country! Everyone deserves a special and happy holiday! THANKSGIVING IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER, AND WE ARE READY TO GOBBLE UNTIL WE WOBBLE! BUT FIRST, WE WANT TO CELEBRATE WITH ALL OF YOU!

We invite our Post members, social members and their guests to join us on Thanksgiving Eve, Wednesday November 22nd in the canteen for our Friendsgiving from 4-9 pm. We will provide some of the food, but if anyone is interested in bringing a dish, we would greatly appreciate it and sign-ups are in the canteen! We are so grateful for our VFW family, Veterans and patrons. Our club is what it is because of all of YOU! Now let’s all gobble till we wobble!

AS A REMINDER, THE POST WILL BE CLOSED ON THANKSGIVING DAY, THURSDAY NOVEMBER 23RD. THANK YOU!

Join us on Sunday November 26th in the banquet hall for Meat Tray Bingo! Doors will open around noon and bingo begins around 1 pm! This is also opened to the public, so tell a friend to tell a friend! Come on out for some fun and some great prizes!
