Come on out this Saturday April 30th from 8-11 pm to hear THE MAD HATTERS perform over on the canteen side! Our very own DJ Bill Wright is in this group! They are an original and classic rock trio from PA. They also have 2 original cd’s already released! Take a look at their Facebook page here to get a sneak peek of what they sound like! There’s also an event made for the VFW, so be sure to respond that you are GOING!

AND TO WRAP UP YOUR UPCOMING WEEKEND, LET’S PLAY SOME BINGO!

Come on out to the Post on Sunday May 1st for Meat Tray Bingo on the banquet/auxiliary side! Doors will open at 12 pm and bingo will start at 1 pm! Dabbers are not needed; they will be provided! This is open to everyone! So, feel free to bring your friends and family! Let’s win some delicious meat packages!

Come on out to the Post on Friday May 6th from 7-11 pm to hear DJ Bill Wright pump up the music and deliver the beats! You need a night out? You need a break? We have you covered! Come put in your favorite musical request and let’s dance!

ALSO COMING YOUR WAY TOWARDS THE END OF MAY…

We will welcome a new band to the canteen side on Saturday May 21 from 8-11 pm! Come check out OSCAR’S BOX, a 4-piece classic rock/blues band! They have played a few benefit shows as well as at the Country Barn! They cover anything from Tom Petty to Led Zepplin, so be sure to come check them out!

  • The Post/Aux meeting will take place on Wednesday April 27th at 6:30 pm.
  • The Chicken BBQ that was planned for Saturday May 7th is CANCELLED. The next Chicken BBQ will take place in June.
  • The Post has all of your PA Lottery needs, so be sure to stop out and play some Keno, Powerball, Horse Racing, etc.!
  • I 105 WIOV radio station advertises for the Post! So be sure to tune into the station to hear upcoming announcements as well and check out their community calendar for events happening at the Post! 
  • GET TO KNOW YOUR VET will have a NEW ARTICLE out this week, featuring Chuck Grimasuckas, the Vice President of the Corporation Officers! Be sure to check it out on the Millersville VFW Website HERE and also at the Post itself! 

Later this summer, we will be having Music Bingo and Karaoke on the canteen side! We also will have a new band, Stu Huggens & The Honkytonk Heroes! So be on the lookout for flyers and announcements!
