AS MOST OF YOU HAVE PROBABLY SEEN OR HEARD, OUR POST WILL BE HOSTING ITS FIRST EVER CARNIVAL/FIREWORKS THIS SUMMER! HERE’S THE RUN DOWN!

Our Summer Carnival will run from Wednesday July 10th-Saturday July 13th. Hours of operation will be 6-10 pm daily! It is opened to the public! Bring the family out for some family fun! Tickets and wristbands will be available for purchase, more info to come on that! On Friday July 12th, we will also have live music from Matt Hutchinson from 7-10 pm. He will be outside performing for you all! Out Firework Extravaganza show will also take place on Friday evening, beginning at 9 pm! You don’t want to miss this patriotic display! On the very last night of the carnival, Saturday July 13th, we will also be pulling the winners of the raffle baskets! So make sure you get tickets and submit yours to the baskets you want to win! 

• We need regular, auxiliary, and social members who are willing to help out with the carnival! Join us at one of our planning meetings on Thursday, June 27, Monday, July 1, or Monday, July 8 at 6pm. Volunteers will receive a free VFW t-shirt. Sign up in canteen.
• The VFW Auxiliary Post 7294 will be hosting a silent auction on July 13th, as a part of our first ever carnival! They make a great late Father’s Day gift if you’re still celebrating Dad! LET THE GOOD TIMES BOIL! Our VFW will host its seafood boil on Saturday June 29th beginning at 3 pm down at our pavilion. Here’s what you need to know!

• Ticket sales end Saturday night, June 22nd
• Included with your ticket are the following: 6 crabs, 1/2 lb shrimp,12 clams, 5 oz sausage, red potatoes and corn, unlimited draft beer, 2 chances at winning a gun for the gun raffle
• Tickets are $100.00. You may share a ticket with someone and split the food. The ticket holder and guest are entitled to the draft beers

The Millersville VFW will be hosting it’s first ever Summer Fest Carnival and Fireworks! The Carnival will run from July 10th to July 13th! Fireworks will go off on Friday July 12th and we will have raffles/silent auction on Saturday July 13th. Tentative times are 6-10 pm. More details to follow!

On Saturday June 29th we will host our Seafood Boil, “LET THE GOOD TIMES BOIL!” It will begin around 3 pm. Tickets will be available soon to purchase, so be on the lookout for that announcement because we are only selling 100 tickets! Tickets will be $100.00 and with your ticket you will get:

The Millersville VFW Banquet Hall and outside pavilion area are wonderful places to host an event this summer. The Banquet hall allows ample space to not only accommodate up to 275 people, but still allow room to have dancing! We have a stage area which is a wonderful spot to highlight the important guests of the evening, or to provide a great platform for entertainment such as a DJ or a band. Our venue is also non-smoking, bathrooms are right on site, and our bar service allows you to add a little spice to your event! Our outside pavilion area includes a covered pavilion with picnic tables as well as an entire field that you may utilize! People have food trucks, bounce houses, yard games…the possibilities really are endless! We strive to provide a wonderful scene and setting for whatever type of event you wish to hold! Weddings, Sweet 16, Anniversary Parties, Celebration of Life…you name it, we have hosted it! Our staff goes above and beyond to help in any way we can!
