OUR STAFF, OFFICERS AND VOLUNTEERS WORKED SO HARD TO MAKE THIS A HUGE SUCCESS! THANK YOU EVERYONE!

Come check out the Auxiliary’s Vendor/Craft Fair on Saturday October 7th from 9am-3pm. There will be a lot of vendors both inside the banquet hall area and outside in the parking lot. Come do some holiday shopping and support your Post and local small businesses all at the same time!

That’s right, Meat Tray Bingo is back in the canteen on Sunday October 8th. Let’s make it a Sunday Funday! Doors will open at 12 pm and bingo will begin around 1 pm. Come check out the great meat packages you could win! Who will be the first one to yell out BINGOOOOO?!

Ghosts, goblins and more…what do you think DJ Bill Wright has in store?! Come check out Trivia on Wednesday October 18th beginning at 6:30 pm. With it being spooky season, this trivia will be HALLOWEEN themed! So come on out and show off your knowledge of all things creepy, crawly and more! Do you know Freddy, Jason and Micheal Myers movies like the back of your hand? What’s the most popular trick or treat candy to hand out? Let’s find out!!!

That’s right…KARAOKE is back at the Post on Friday October 20th from 8-11pm. DJ Peggy brings you the mic and you bring the song choice. But since it’s the month of all things eerie…we are calling this one SCARYOKE! Come have some fun! Get the audience blood curling screaming! Let loose, unwind from the week! The song possibilities are endless. All we need is you and your voice! Let’s put on an unforgettable show!

ATTENTION! MAKE SURE YOU MARK THIS ON THE CALENDAR NOW! THE POST’S FIRST EVER TRUNK OR TREAT IS HAPPENING!

We put a spell on you…and now you are OURS FOR THE NIGHT! Do not miss the Post’s first ever TRUNK OR TREAT on Thursday October 26th from 6-8 pm over on the banquet hall side of the Post! Bring the kids out to “trunk or treat” throughout the parking lot. We ask that parents and guardians stay with their children! We will have SEVERAL trunks decorated in different themes that will be handing out candy/small goodies. We will also have SEVERAL Police Departments and Fire Departments with vehicles on site as well, handing out candy, talking to the kids, showing the ins and outs of their emergency vehicles. We also have a few Towing Businesses bringing tow trucks on site to decorate and hand out candy as well. THIS IS GOING TO BE A BIG ONE! The support and participation have been AMAZING! There will also be a prize for the best trunk! So make sure you stop and vote after you visited each one! Once the kids are done outside visiting all of the cars, we encourage you to come inside our banquet hall to enjoy some food, drink, games and face painting! We will have 3 face painters on site, which hopefully will keep the lines moving! There is also going to be SO MUCH CANDY! So again, we encourage everyone to come out and bring the kids! Dress up in costume and get in the spirit! We want to see all of your great ideas! Keep an eye out for advertisements in the Penn Manor Merchandiser, as well as surrounding businesses. Manor Township Police Department (one of our participants) has made up a flyer that has been going around on Facebook! There is also an event link on our Facebook. There is a sign-up on Sign-Up Genius that is also on Facebook and the VFW website if you are interested in decorating your trunk. If you are interested in participating in this Trunk or Treat in any way, please sign up online or reach out to McKayla Herman at 717-693-3357. We are SO EXCITED to bring this event to our community!

  • The Aux meeting will take place on Tuesday September 26th at 6:30 pm.
  • The Post meeting will take place on Wednesday September 27th at 6:30 pm.
  • The Post has all of your PA Lottery needs. Come play some skill machines, watch car races, watch horse races or play the Powerball. Come try your luck!
  • I 105 WIOV radio station advertises for the Post! So be sure to tune into the station to hear upcoming announcements as well and check out their community calendar for events happening at the Post.
