AS WE WIND UP THE MONTH OF AUGUST, LET’S TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT’S COOKING OVER AT THE POST!

Spend your Labor Day weekend partying with us…and the SCREAMIN’ DAISYS! Dance, sing, hang out with your favorite people, and drink a cold one while the band puts on an awesome show for everyone! SAVE THE DATE! This Saturday September 2nd from 8 pm- 12 am the band will be performing in the banquet hall! Everyone 21 and over is welcomed, so spread the word and tell a friend to tell a friend! There will be a $5 cover fee at the door and doors will open at 7 pm! A cash bar will be available throughout the evening and there is an ATM on site. We will have a 50/50 drawing as well. Food will be available for purchase. The band always delivers a phenomenal show, and you don’t want to be the one person who misses out! There’s a Facebook event, so click GOING so you have a reminder. Let’s get ready to party with the SCREAMIN’ DAISYS!

Winner winner chicken dinner! That’s what you can win at….MEAT TRAY BINGO in the canteen on Sunday September 10th! Doors will be opened at 12 pm and bingo will start at 1 pm! Come play for your chance at some great prizes! This is opened to VFW members and their guests only!

CHICKEN BBQ IS BACK AT THE POST! We are excited to announce that our chicken bbq for the VFW will be on Saturday September 16th beginning at 11 am until we sell out! WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS TO HELP US FOR THIS EVENT! If you are interested, please see the bartender or talk to one of our officers! We would love the help! There will be a sign-up sheet in the canteen as well, so if you have some free time that day, we could use you! Let’s make this a success! 

BE SURE YOU STOP AT THE POST AND GET YOUR GUN RAFFLE TICKETS! $10 EACH! THE DRAWING WILL BE ON SEPTEMBER 23rd! SO MAKE SURE YOU SAVE THE DATE AND COME OUT TO SEE IF YOU WON! WE WILL HAVE DJ SCOTTY SHARPE PLAYING MUSIC AND THERE WILL ALSO BE FOOD AVAILABLE!

REMINDER! The VFW has a huge banquet hall that is the PERFECT venue for birthday parties, anniversary parties, weddings and any other celebration!
